In Troy? What the Hell?
Alright. This is my bizarre story. Troy is a very small city. For the most part all of the young people know one another. So when a couple girls walked into Shake Shake Mamas on Wednesday while Nada was working and I was grading papers we assumed they went to Russel Sage (the all girls college nearby) or something along those lines. They also happened to look very familiar. The conversation went like this:

Nada: You look really familiar! Did you go to school in New Paltz or live there?
Girl: Hmmm no.
Nada: I just don't know why but I cannot place your face!
Girl: Well do you watch Battlestar Galatica?
Nada: Yeah, I love it!
Girl: Oh, well I play Cally on the show.
Nada: Oh yeah, you do look a lot like her.
Girl: No really. I am her. I'm the actress that plays Cally.
Nada: Oh ha ha. Very funny, quit pulling my leg.
Girl: No really, I am. Although people usually recognize Allison first because she's on Smallville.


SO RANDOM. In Troy??? Wtf.

We hung out for a while talking philosophy and a potential business venture of the girls' and then went out for drinks last night and chatted. All in all it was super, and they're both really sweet girls (with cute style I might add as well). Supposedly we're going to be getting together for drinks tomorrow night, and to discuss "girlie" things and books, but who knows.

It's just very random to run into anyone in Troy.
